Wheel Spacers?

I have a '95 F-150 4x4 with a 3" body lift. I'm running 33-12.5 15's. I have a rub when turning. I am interested in installing wheel spacers. Anyone have an opinion about why or why not?

No, more stress on the wheel bearings and other front end parts. Especially bad idea on a TTB front end.

> I have a rub when turning

Where it is rubbing will determine what steps to take to correct it. I would suspect the radius arms.

Redundancy: NO. More stress with everyday usage, and wheeling would eventually ruin your bearings and in the extreme ruin your axle (not likely at all, youd have to wheel like me).
Options: New wheels w/ proper backspacing.
Smaller tires.
Build your axles wider. (expensive)

Many suspension lifts are available with extended radius arms that are curved in such a way as to provide more clearance for the tires.

Thanks for all the input. Pretty much knew the answers. Gonna try a smaller tire.
