Question HVLP cleaning recommendations

Never painted before but looking to buy a paint gun. How do you guys normally clean up after your work. What is the typical routine?

Thanks

Pour out the excess paint. Clean the cup with some paper towels. Swirl around some reducer (I usually use lacquer thinner). Pull the trigger (with no attached air) and let the reducer run through the tip. Pour out the reducer. Put 1-2 oz. of reducer in gun. Connect the air and turn it down to 5 psi. Loosen (but do not remove) the air cap. Slowly pull the trigger and allow the reducer to "perk" in the cup (no cap on the cup). Repeat the perking operation with clean reducer until it runs clear. Swab off the exterior parts of the gun with lacquer thinner. Lube the wear points.

Once in a while, I disassemble the gun for a complete cleaning.
