Cold weather starting

How big of a problem am i going to have to start a powerstroke in the winter? If i got it started in the morning and it was lets say 0degrees out and i let it sit in a parking lot from 8- 10 hours will i have problems staring it?

Cold weather starting

If you have fresh batteries, and a good glow plug system, you shouldn't have too much trouble. It would be best if you could plug in the block warmer to take the chill off before turning it over, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Cold weather starting

I wouldn't worry about startig your truck in the cold weather.. I live in northern British Columbia and had gone visiting a friend and the truck sat for 3 days at -20C and it started just fine.. I just cycled the glow plugs a couple times and away it went.. ran rough for a bit but it started and ran just fine
