4.2 to 7.5 computer issues

I have a '99 F-150 4.2 liter V-6. I have a fuel injected 460 and E40D tranny out of a '96 F-250 that i would like to put in my F-150. Does anyone know how to handle the computer issues involved in the swap? I know that both trucks have the EEC-V computer, the '96 is a version 1.0 and the '99 is a version 2.0. I've contacted Painless Wiring and Fuel Injection Specialties, so far I haven't been able to come up with a solution. I want to keep the EFI. I was told that the air bags and cruise control are also computer controlled, I'd like to keep them functional - and then there's the transmission... Could I run a stand alone system for the fuel injection/engine and maintain everything else on the stock computer? Any suggestions?

You sure that 460 is OBD-II?? I have worked on tons of 97 F250 and 350's and, I have never seen a 460 truck with OBD-II, all are OBD-1 speed density, heck even the 351W powered over 8500 trucks are OBD-1.

I could be wrong - I was just told that the '96 pickups were the OBD-II. I guess that's something else to look into - thank you.
