I just a similar problem like that. It started out as a slow leak and then a couple days later BAM! huge leak. Dont get scared, just watch it and check it. It is in the dealer Monday and Tuesday and ended up being the fitting off of the high pressure oil pump. Of course the ford dealership didnt have the part in stock so it took one extra day to get the part. Good luck. Let me know if you have any other questions.

To add a bit of clearification to the previous post, there is a hole at the rear of the block that allows any leakage in the valley to exit and run down the passengers side rear between the transmission and engine. As Distinctive Dave said, the leak is probably in the valley if it is coming from the torque converter cover area.
OK, is this a common problem with the 7.3L. I seem to have a similar leak but it appears to be comming out the small hole on the bottom of the rear fly wheel cover. That is of course also the torque Converter bottom cover but the leak is oil not tranny juice. I was thinking a rear main seal. I'm still under warrenty but would like to hear some informed opinions before going to the dealer.
That's where it will exit if you've got a leak in the valley. Climb up in the engine compartment and see if the valley is wet with puddled oil. If it is, follow the leak back to its source. If it is not, then you may be right about the rear seal.
