1995 F250, Front fuel pump Problems...Help
Hello Gentlemen,
I have a 95 250 w/ 460 5sp. It has dual tanks of course and I have had problems with the front fuel pump ever since I bought it. It never worked so we dropped the tank and made sure we were getting power. We were. Well needless to say we drained the gas and it was varnish city everywhere in the tank. The pump was covered in varnish. There was at least 2-3 inches of varnish in the bottom of tank and all over the sides. Solution www.gastanks.com new tank to my door for a like a hundred bucks. Now have installed a different pump in new tank and do have power. Pump will cut on but it turns on and you hear the normal buzz and then it gets higher pitched and truck quits running. My question is do you think that maybe my line is clogged. Do the front and rear tanks run off the same line or different lines. I want to get under there and check the line and blow through them and see if it is stopped up. Anyone have similiar problems? Please let me know, Thanks, Frank
