Suspension Mod

2000 X, V10, 4X4,
I finally installed the Helwig rear swaybar and Edelbrock front and rear IAS gas shocks, and all I can say is WOW. I wish I had done this a long time ago. I think it is money well spent as the difference in handling is like night and day. A big thanks to BIGSLURRP for his excellent installation instructions he provided which made the install seamless. This is such a great site. Thanks to all that frequent this site and provide very usefull information

Robert

Is that for the Hellwig bar ? I was on their website and they didn't have one listed for an Excursion and the one it listed wasn't a Hellwig.

Thanks, I'll call them tomorrow. Any suggestions for shocks? I was thinking of Billstiens but are the Rancho's any better ? I figure it's best to do them at the same time even though I just turned 30,000 miles. I drive on highway only, no off road for this city boy.

I wouldn't mention that part number.

Have them find the bar for your truck.

Bar shouldn't be interchangeable with the Expy and Navigator. Frames are different widths.
