Hypertech Ford Performance Module
This module is the only computer modification I can find. The cheapest I have seen it is $250. However, I cannot find any statistics on performance gains such as hp an torque numbers. If anyone has information or opions, I would appreciate the response. My truck is a 1993 F150 302 E4OD. Thanks guys.

Diabloavailable at www.motorhaven.com is $229 for a chip you can switch from performance to stock witha flip switch. The diablo is one of the best chips available. I think the hypertech is a more generic and only tunes at wide open throttle, where the diablo is tuned at all throttle positions and improves overall driveability. It will also improve your shifting. It should give you 8-10% HP improvement and 10-15% torque improvement. I have one in my 93 Ranger and love it.

The Diablo chip is for all Fords. Its programmed by the PCM code on the computer box, not by engine type. The listing is just there as examples, I've done several thousand chips for practically every Ford.

If you want performance, you must run premium. The chips tune for premium fuel.
Stage 1 - performance tune always runs
Stage 2 - performance tune, and you can turn the chip off and run the stock tune
Stage 3 - same as stage 2, with an additional program (nitrous, race fuel, etc.)
