drip rail

Hi, I have a 77 F-150 and would like to replace the drip rails on the roof. I"ve seen where I can get these at,but how are they fastened to the body? I don't see any bolts, are they welded on?

Cant speak for a 77, but the drip rails on my 79 are metal formed in to the cab. If I were to replace them , it would be a welding project, jmo
