I have a 1964 F250 in need of new tires. The original spare size is 7.00x16 and is still on the split rim but the other 4 are LT245/75R16 on Firestone 16x6 wheels. What would be the best size in a modern radial to be close to the original size? The LT245/75R16 tires (since they are wider) make turning the truck hard and the turn radius is limited since the stops have to be adjusted out to keep the tires from rubbing.
