Master number decoders please apply within !
Hi All,
Yesterday i dragged home a rusty 1979 or 80 Lincoln Versailles (read fancy Granada or Monarch). Why you may ask ? It has a Ford 9 inch rear end with disc brakes, my buddy has been looking for one for ages for his hot rod.
I am trying to determine if there is anything else of value. It has an electric sliding glass sunroof which I'll keep for a future project.
Mainly, I want to try to figure out which engine and tranny it has.
Here are some numbers:
VIN:
F0W84F611331F
Valve Cover (partial tag):
OJ33OAB
Under this there are letters A through M with the 'K' punched out.
There is a 6* (six degrees) symbol
Under this there are numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 with the '8' punched out. To the right of the numerical series is 475B
To the right of all of this is sort of a grid.
C / 11_ _ (last 2 characters unreadable)
R / 13
S / 25
Anyone out there who can tell me what I've got ?
