Question dvd instalation help

Hi, i'm going to install a dvd system in my buddy's new F250. ( being a nice guy seems to cost me all my free time but what are you going to do...lol ).
Please bare in mind that i'm a collision repair tech, i know steel, not electicity, just ask my wife about the fireplace blower that has to be turned on from the back porch light...ha ha ha, long story. any way i'm just looking for basic wiring information and anything i should on the lookout for.
The system is an aftermarket overhead TFT screen, standard dvd player that will hopefully fit in the center consoul, wireless headphones and an FM modulator, my biggest questions are, where should i run the power from? i would like the system to power up with the rest of the truck and not be hardwired to the battery if at all possible, making sure the dome lights on the screen housing work with the rest of the domes in the truck, should i go with an wireless Fm modulator or a hardwired modulator, and whats the best way to put out a truck fire.
Thank you for any help you can give me, i don't want to let my buddy down
Thanks alot Hal Copeland

The power can be gotten many places. I installed a factory unit and tapped power off the radio. If this is an option - www.installdr.com will give wiring diagram. I would go wired modulator and install a noise block.
