Hub Tool?

Years ago I used to have a tool that fit in the palm of your hand that made engaging manual hubs easier. It was was basically a piece of plastic molded to fit the human hand on one end and had two prongs that fit the manual hub on the other end. It was great for guys like me with fat fingers or with gloves on that had a hard time twisting the lock/unlock mechanism. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to locate on of these at?

A friend of mine made a tool for his manuals fom a piece of 1.5" PVC with a notch in the end. Can't figure out why he used it as his hubs were easy to engage.
