Have you guys seen the new Dodge commercial??? They have a Hemi Magnum(station wagon ) playing cat and mouse with what looks to be a Ferarri. Dodge has out done themselves again. The marketing for the engine is rediculous

Yea, and they could not use a real one................wonder why
Dodge and it's German handlers are feeling left out. Ford has out gunned Ferrari, and Dodge just hasn't quite made it. Sure, their 8.3 liter v-10 in a sports car can't do it, but their 5.7 liter v-8 in a station wagon can.
Ford has outgunned Ferarri? How so. There's no way any of the big 3 have any vehicle that will outperform a Ferarri.
I think that would depend on the Ferarri. I'm fairly sure that the Mustangs, Cobras and Vettes have all beat Ferarri's in there days. Cars like the Dino where nice to look at but under powered.
Thats why I said it "looks Like" I just saw the tail end of the commercial. Either way, the Hemi Magnum is not going to beat a lotus either. Dodge keeps trying to make sports cars out of automobiles that are not SPORT cars. A truck is not a sports car, a station wagon is not a sports car, I mean really, if the Hemi was that great an engine they would stick it in their only true sports car, the Viper, and I dont see that happening do you?
LOL I agree! sorry my post sounded rude I was just telling you guys what kinda car it is in the commercial. yes there is no way a dodge magnum can beat a lotus. put a viper and lotus together then we'll talk.

I'm not defending the commercial but, whats wrong with a powerful wagon or sedan(300C) thats fun to drive but can still fit five people?

Nothing wrong with it, except the way its being marketed. They act like this "Hemi" is the next coming of Christ. I mean come on Ram commercials acting like the new Hemi, is the same as the old Hemi, then you have this station wagon with a Hemi, and they try to compare it to a lotus....I mean come on already
Three cars that are close if not equal for a much cheaper price are: Chevy Corvette, Dodge Viper, and the Ford GT40. Each of these could easily match the performance of a Ferarri, with a few mods, and still be about 50,000-100,000 cheaper.
