Anybody know of a cool OEM like A-pillar guage package? I want to add a few other guages not in the dash. I know they are out there, but I want to hear which ones go in easy and look good, and those that don't.
I'll be interested to see responses as well, I saw the A-pillar mount(1-3 pods) and have been debating getting a single pod, dual guage (EGT,BOOST)or double pod seperate gauges....
Hey, bricot! I would like to see an EGT, turbo boost, and voltmeter. If I can find a nice three pod, I would be happy. I just do not want anything that sticks out too far and looks out of place. We'll have to wait and see who has seen one.
Just checked it out! The triple looks pretty good. Wonder how close it fits to OEM, though? I assume you could choose brand of guages. I may have to order one to see how it will look. The position of the guages looks pretty clean judging by the picture.
Have you looked into the X-monitor from BD Power. Just put one on my buddies truck, all digital looks pretty cool. There might be a pic on the website. Try www.BD-power.com

I used [link:http://community.webshots.com/photo/21747229/24817095XwSaSSZtzN|Autometer Sport Comp] gauges because the white numbers on the black face looked most "factory". I painted my pillar to match the interior tan and the gauge bezels black to better match the stock gauges, but since then Autometer has come out with the Z-series gauges that come with a black bezel already. The autometer gauges came with a green light cover so the night time illumination looks similar to the green illumination from the factory dash.
There is also an option from [link:http://www.stewartwarner.com/Products/prod1.html|Stewart Warner] that gives a green illumination on a black face with white numbers. Look under the "Heavy Duty" and "Heavy Duty Plus" gauges. I have ordered a Heavy Duty Plus ammeter, coolant temp, and restriction guage which I am mounting on a three gauge pod that fits between my visors. As soon as I get them in I will post back with a pic link.
I would have stuck with Autometer, but they don't make an ammeter for 160 amp alternators or a water column restriction guage. Hope that helps...
Checked them all out. Installation looks pretty straight forward. They all look pretty good, guess I just have to make a choice and go for it. I am definitely going with the three pod. Thanks for the help on this.....great info!!!
