Anyone know whether or not the current $1500 rebate for the F-150 has to be from dealer inventory or does it apply to factory orders too?

 

The rebate for some is for a cash sale and it applies to when you accept delivery, I was told that I would get whatever rebate is effect when I take delivery....It's been somewhat of a crap shoot...When I ordered it was 1000 now it is 1500 and I am hoping that it will go up the first of May because of the 5000 cash back Chevy just advertised....But you never know it just might go down>>>

 

I can just hear my salesman now saying it was for, "off the lot vehicles only and not factory orders."

 

Your dealer has no control over this! If he jerks you around walk away.... Lots and lots of dealers will want your business.

 

It's already been ordered so walking away is a bit tough at this point. I'll end up making a scene in the showroom jumping up on the hood of a Focus screaming, "Rip Off!"

 

Ford's rebates are good AT THE TIME YOU TAKE DELIVERY. It doesn't matter if you ordered it or bought it from stock. It's what is in effect at the time you sign the final paperwork and drive it off the lot.
