Question hesatation

Hello all

I own a 94.5 f450 7.3 psd and I do not think the engine is working right.Sometimes after it is warmed up it seem to have some hesatation, not real big but noticeable. The engine has 279,000miles on it and just receantly replaced fuel filter glo plugs and relay and changed oil and filter .I also put diesel injection cleaner in both tanks and run them through not much change. It just seems to me engine should have more power. Please reply.

Hello it is me again, the problem maybe more of a bog in power when accelerating rather than hesatation.

To clean the screen remove the srews holding the regulator to the fuel bowl. Three 10mm bolts I believe. Gently pull the regulator away from the bowl and you will see a tiny screen where the fuel passes into the bowl. Take a qtip and cut of the swab on the end and up that to scrap away any build up on the screen. Hope this helps!

You don't need to remove the fuel regulator to clean the fuel screen. If you remove the lid to the fuel bowl there should be a hole on the top right. Take Q-tips and GENTLY clean the screen.
