Newbie here. What an awesome site.Found a new home.Anyways i have a 02 E-350 PSD Van.Just purchased the Diablo tuner for it.When i load a tune and drive,as soon as the tranny shifts out of first my overdrive off light flashes. This is the light on the shifter column that also has a button to disengage the overdrive.Does this in tow,40 and 60 tune.Is this normal and ok to drive still?I retuned to stock until i find some info out.I used the code reader and retreived a tranny code when the tune was in use.It was something like a live RAM memory code, should of wrote it down before clearing it.If it helps with theexact code number and wording code for an answer i can quick load a tune in.Did'nt drive it long but what a differance in power. Now the Stroker is faster than my Iroc. Thanks for any info.
Opps i typed in a error on my original post.I receive NO trouble codes with any of the tunes i loaded into my van.I received the code when i returned to the factory stock setting.I loaded the tow tune in again to retreive the proper trouble code i received so i can try to get some help. The code is PO603 Powertrain Control.Description is powertrain control module keep alive memory(KAM) error.Thanks.
Thanks for the response.Do you know any info on my off light flashing on my shifter column. This is the light to show you disengaged the overdrive.Overdrive is still working i noticed when i'm using a tune but the light flashes. Also i just received a reply back from Brian at Diablo. He said to return my van back to stock tune and return the Predator for a refund.Brian said the tuner does not work on the E-series vans.He did'nt explain why i cannot use it.Wondering if you have any insight on this and reasons why?If you don't i'll mail Brian and ask. Thanks again.
Brian is right about van support. Although the Predator works with the vast majority of van applications, vans are not officially supported with it (just like the 6.0 Predator doesn't officially support 6.0Ls with earlier than October flashes but still works with most). If you can live with the light, keep it. One thing though, I suggest an EGT gauge as the vans tend to run higher EGTs than the trucks.
