After reading this post,the sundown post,and the sattalite dish post,and seeing where you work,I am wondering,Are you required to wear a leadlined hard hat. .And what are those prarie dogs,it is kinda hard to tell?

Those are ground squirrels. There are a couple of doors that you don't want to stand by for too long due to radiation.

Seriously,What do you do if there is an electrical storm,seems to me that place is one big lightning rod.

Squirrel season in Missouri is May 22, 2004 through Feb 15, 2005. Limits 6 bag 12 possession.

a 22 and good recipes will keep you fed for the season.

Actually a tower is a good place to be during a storm. There is a cone of protection that will protect structures in case of a strike. As long as all metal objects are grounded, you are safe.

Ya know, every once in awhile one of those furry little critters climbs a pole near me and oh man, when they step in the wrong place, POOF! Has that happened at the facility in those pics?

A squirrel did that when my dad was visting us here. He jumped to the wrong wire and fell to the ground extra crispy, the little guy was so hot he started a grass fire and shorted out the electricity for awhile. He was charred to the core. -BBB
