I have a 92' ranger black 4x4 v6 4.0l with brand new heads on it. might have a cracked block or just a bad seal, either way I'm tired of dealing with it. It have 31" x 10.5" tire on american racing rims, the 4x4 works perfectly, a crome truck box, brand new speakers all around, crapy CD player but a cd player none the less.. a little body damage about the wheel wells.. but it looks like it adds character, professional spray in bed liner, interior is perfect. So anyone have any idea how much it is worth, there is a 91 bronco I'm looking at wanting, but being a starving college student... I got to get rid of the ranger before anything else... anyone think $2500 is good or low or anything.... - Stewy
Well, the ford dealership was asking 4995 for a 87 4x4 with the 2.9 in it. (told them they were NUTS) i think 2500 is a fair price, i'd buy it if it were sitting here at our dealership.
im really nuts, paid $9,000 for my '93 4x4 s/c with 65,000 original miles back in august, im suprized the bank would finance it being almost twice book value, but its in excellent shape and i knew a new truck similarly set up would be twice as much and this one came with a cap and trailer hitch and was even the color i wanted. sometimes "worth" is just what someones willing to pay i guess. i would think you wouldnt have much problem selling it for what you are asking.
Stewy, don't get too excited! That engine problem will devalue your truck big time. I'm sure that someone else will deal with it if the price is right on your truck(low).
You would be better off, knowing all the repairs etc., keeping your truck and getting it fixed. JMO.
