Question What do I look for?

First of all, I'd like to thank Jeff at Van Bortel Ford for helping me purchase my new F-150 SCrew, Lariat 4X4, 5.4, 3.73LS, Power Leather Captains Chairs (heated), Audiophile, tow package, reverse sensing system, black with arizona beige. Although I'm not flying to NY to pick it up, he helped me negotiate the $34,424 before TT&L. According to VOPC, it's scheduled for production the week of 4/26 (ordered 3/29). Thanks again, Jeff. Now, the question...when it arrives at the dealership, what things should I be looking for before signing the paperwork? Things like distorted windshield, vibrations, bouncing over small bumps, wind noise, etc.? Seems like a couple of months ago, there was a thread saying "take a bright flashlight and spend 2-3 hours scouring every inch before you take it away." I just thought maybe you all might know and would be able to place into one thread so anyone going to pick up a truck might know what to look for. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I worked in a body shop a few years ago. The Ford dealer had brought us some trucks in to be put on a frame rack. It seem that when they were shipped that they had been tighten down to the railrod cars to tight and had some frame damage. If you look at them from the back toward the cab, check and make sure that the distance from the top of the box to the back window frame on the bottom is the same on both sides. You will need to park on a flat spot. Also check the gap between the doors and body. They should be the same on both sides. This seems to be a problem with all makes that are shipped on a train to their final location.
