Just a good idea

I dont know how many of you haul lots inside your Excursion but here is a little tip that I picked up from another owner. The draw back for me to hauling in a Excursion is that if you make a sudden stop your load can shift and come over the third seat. I have been using a dog barrier that I bought at a pet store. One size fits all large suv's. You can put it behind the third seat or if you have the third seat out and the second seat down, it fits behind both passanger seat and driver seat. I haul many boxes for my buisness. The first time I tried this I slammed on the brakes and the dog barrier stopped everthing from coming forward. I suppose many of you already use something like this but this is the first I have heard of it.

I have a dog barrier for my dog...
but now that she's oleder and knows she can only LOOK over the third seat without getting her feelings hurt from me yelling at her... I took it out....
noticed it made serious indentions in the headliner...
guess I tightened it too much :-)

The first thing I did was get front floor mats, installed a rear cargo mat and put a dog barier in it.
