My Father is ready to buy a Town Car....Ultimate...options: 6 disc cd player, HID headlamps, Power moonroof, !7" chrome wheels....according to Lincoln vehicles.com invoice is 44,597.00...can you help??

According to CarsDirect, you can buy one in my area for $500 below invoice. With the current $4000 rebate, that brings it down to right around $40,000. But there's dealer cash that's allowing them to sell below invoice, and I have no way of finding out how much that is (Ford dealers don't have access to L-M incentives). Lincoln dealers are quite competitive, so don't be afraid to shop around, and play one against another. You may be able to get that down even more. Or............
Is there any way he'd consider a 1 or 2-year old one? I think Town Cars are the greatest thing going (I drive a '96 Signature), but their resale value sucks. He can buy a nice 2-year old Town Car, low mileage, for HALF the price of a new one. Just a suggestion.
BTW, how's life in Harrisburg? My mom's there right now. I've got a lot of relatives around Lebanon, Hershey, Manada Hills, Indiantown Gap. Nice area.
Life is good! I am in the boat business down here..(Big Bee Boats) sales have been really strong in our biz the 1st qtr...I appreciate you getting back to me.
