Part Numbers

I am curious about the two letters following a part number:

Example: a reman MAF for my truck is listed as (potentially) F57Z-12B579-AA or F57Z-12B579-BA (the correct one) - why the difference, calibration? Are they Interchangeable (they appear to be the same price).

yep, I think so

All of the maf's are 12B579 base part, and I do think the -XX is calibration.

The AA and BA denote the correct one for your engine. The AA would be for one size engine and the BA for another size engine.
