I recently built 5.0. Gt 40-p heads, e-303 cam, 9.4 / 1 compression. The engine is carburated. Accel billettech dist. vacuum advance. Max advance, and advance rate are adjustable. Vacuum is also adjustable. I can not seeem to come up with the right timeing. I hate to go to the dyno, cost too much for a street engine. Does anyone have any suggestions on timeing for this engine? Base line, advance, and what rpm it should be in by. 93 octane fuel.
