PW question
I am going to pull off the door panel tomorrow to either replace the pw motor or the gears. My question is when I push the down button for the window I hear a "click" coming from the window...I was just wondering what that ment. would it do that if the motor was bad or is it just the gears? Any comments would be appreicated.

Sounds like your motor is dirty. The easiest way to pull it is when you pull your door panel, you will see 2 dimples in the metal in front of the bolts that hold the motor on. Drill these out big enough to get a 1/4 dr. socket through there it will save you time. When you get the motor out get 2 pieces of wire and hook them up to the plug from another battery. It will probly brake free. Clean it up with some electrical motor cleaner and reinstall it. This will hopefully save some money and time.
