Mileage thought
I was woundering why the trucks with the best mileage out there seem to be either FX4 or Lariat.
Having raced when I was younger I decided to check on the roll out for the various axle/tire combos. Roll out is the distance that the truck will go for one turn of the drive shift. A truck with the highest number or lowest engine speed is 265/60/18 matched with a 3.55. The 275/65/18 matched with the 3.73 is about the same. If you check which model has those combos it is the FX4 and the Lariat.
Intersesting that Ford would make the top of the line trucks the best for mileage.
