Attaching Mud Flaps
Is there a good way to attach some big 'ol mud flaps onto the trucks directly behind the wheels without drilling (gulp) the rust-sensitive wheel wells?
I dread giving any rust an opportunity to start...

I don't know how big a mud flap you're looking for but I've seen the big truck type attached to a rod that was bolted to the frame before. This seemed to work quite well and the rods were heavy enough that they didn't sag. Or are you looking for a smaller flap like the stock type?

My pickup had a long piece of angle iron bolted across the frame about half way between the tires and rear bumper. Then the large mudflaps where bolted to the ends of the angle iron. You can get a glimps of them in my gallery.
