Question need help identifying transmission

Hello again, guys. Want to know what transmission i have and any info you may have. Transmission code on warranty plate is an N. Motor's truck repair manual lists this as a clark 2622 v1 or vi for 1966 model year. I have a 1965 f250 4 wheel drive. Axle tag says 4.56 or 4.88, hard to tell, very rusty. Warranty plate says 25, should be 4.56's. I turn about 3000 rpm's to do 50 on the highway with 31" tall tires. Do the math, it comes out to 5.38 gears. Is the tranny not 1 to 1 in 4th? What's up? Any help greatly appreciated, Jim.

My 64-72 Ford parts catalog shows for 64/65, that code "N" is a New Process 435 4 speed tranny. Axle code 25 is a Dana 60 rear, 4,56 gears.

yes, i finally figured that if i crawled under there i would be able to tell. it has the new process star on the side of the tranny. cant figure out why the motor revs so high to do 50 though. np435 lists a 1 to 1 4th gear. i should be turning around 2500 rpm.
