Just bought an Expy - :D

Well after reading just about every post about "buying an Expedition" we just picked ours up today. We were looking for an Excursion, but decided that was just too big for what we wanted to do, and this fit better in our price range.

It's an 01 Eddie Bauer, with i think just about every bell and whistle available. I need to get pics of it maybe tomorrow and put them in my gallery. Its a mossy green color (not sure what color it is exactly, and thankfully (from what i've ready anyways) it doesnt have the rear air suspension. It's really clean, seems to be well taken care of, as far as appearance goes, not just a recon job.

Is there anywhere to run a vin no. and have all of the factory installed things spelled out. With our old Grand Cherokee, the jeep dealer could print of a copy of the original build sheet just by putting in the vin no. That way i would know what it has, without going 6 months before stumbling across something accidentally. I'm sure i will have some questions come up in the next few weeks as i begin to explore a bit further in it. First i gotta find the rattle that is coming from the sunroof area, it sounds like something is loose and rattles at stops and bumps.

Brian

Congratulations!

The green color is "Estate Green" in 2001.

The service department at the Ford dealer can run your VIN and tell you what you have, I believe.
