Opinion on best pyrometer/trans/boost gauges out there.

Okay. I am looking into what brand of guages to buy and cant make up my mind. I see the Autometer guages and others out there and was wondering anyone's opinion on what is the best.
Which brand is the most accurate: I Will tap into the exhaust manifold for the pyrometer and the T for the boost.
Which brand is the easiest to install:
Which brand is the most reliable:
Which brand has the best warranty:
Which brand has the best options for back light colors:
And any other good stories or horror stories would help..

Sorry about all the questions just rather get the right set the first time. Will be getting a 3 pod holder.

'Nuther vote for Autometer. I went with them on reputation alone and have not had, let alone heard of any problems with them. Running 6 Autometers and counting! ")

Another vote for Autometers. Here is a look at my set. (The switch at the top is for my flip-chip.)

Dunno. The truck had it on it when I bought it. I've been asked that before, and still don't have an answer.
Sorry.

Thanks. I was leaning toward the autometer. I did notice that some of the boost guages only go to 30 will that be enough.

FOrdFOrever,
Try cabelas.com. They the woodgrain overlay kits. My catalog shows them for the newer models, but you could check with them on the older applications.

The 30 on the boost gauge should be enough unless you're really gonna go nuts with mods (I can get it over but don't very often), and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that 25-30 is supposed to be about the safe boost for the stock turbo. My autometer goes to 35 i think - maybe it's 40 - I'd have to walk out to the truck to be sure.

The stock turbo is supposedly good for up to 40psi, and the head gaskets are good to about 42. My gauge reads up to 35psi.
