Carbed to EFI Conversion-Head Question
I have an EFI truck that I'm currently driving and a carbed I6 engine being rebuilt. I'd like to stay with the EFI but I'm not sure if the carbed head will work with the EFI
WIll I be able to bolt up the EFI Intake and Exhaust to the carbed head? The EFI engine is an '89 while the carbed engine being rebuilt is an '84.

You can physically bolt on the EFI stuff and it will work...but you are losing the benfit of the fast burn EFI head... So you might lose a few mpg...but it won't be so bad that it'll really hurt.
