Fuel Filter Drain
I have an 02 F350 PSD and I remember reading on this site about installing a piece of tubing on the filter drain prior to draining so that fuel does not go onto the engine.
Can someone tell me what size the drain fitting is and exactly where it is located?
I have 5000 miles now and was going to drain any water at 7500.

Fuel Filter Drain
the fuel filter drain is right behind the fuel filter.. i think the handle is yellow, and if you stand on something (i use one of those plastic milk cases) you can see it.. it'll only move in one direction.. (back, i think)
the tubing is 3/8 inch, and i slid a 3/8 plastic tubing over it.. i collect the fuel drained in a coffee can so that i can see if any water is in it..
i'm sure that anyone will correct me if i'm wrong about the color or the tubing size..

Thanks for the info.
I have seen the drain lever and according to manual it rotates to firewall and it is yellow.
