Overfilled Crankcase/Low Power

Would overfilling the crankcase by 3/4 of a quart during an oil change cause the vehicle to suffer a loss of power? (92 Ranger/4.0/Auto)

It really shouldn't, but if the crank started dipping into the oil it would rob you of some power.

How much power loss are you getting. Usually, overfilling will not make a lot of difference, other than maybe blowing oil out somewhere.
