6 lug Ford?
Hi,
I'm trying to identify what kind of chassis I have.
It's a pretty straight frame and doesn't "dip" down until about where a cab would mount.
It has a kind of wide-ish 6 lug bolt pattern for the wheels...which are 17.5 inch steel. Leaf springs front and rear.
The rearend is full floating..ala 3/4 ton or 1-ton, but single wheels in the rear, not duals.
The pumpkin resembles a DANA 44, but larger...it does have 10 bolts holding the rear cover on.
Does this sound like a Ford setup? If so, what years might it be from?

I know for sure they were used from '56 and up on the F-350. They may have been used on 53-56 F-350's. Sounds like you have a F-350 since the frames don't have a frame arch over the rear axle.
