I'M LOOKING FOR THE BEST HEADERS POSIBLE. I HAVE A 1995 BRONCO 5.0L WITH A SINGLE FOWMASTER SYSTEM. BUT I WANT TO SOUND LOUDER AND STRONGER. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE?

Bassani. Great headers great sound. Mines a little too loud but I have no cats and a single 3" Flowmaster 40. It sounds pretty cool but I am not into driving down the street and making people turn their heads because of the noise.

Another vote for Bassani. I just installed the whole kit over Easter weekend. I was afraid it was gonna be too loud but for me but its just right. I can imagine getting a louder sound without the Cat. The only complaint I had was they left out one graphite gasket insert. They overnighted a replacement to me. It is pricey but an great kit.

I'd like to have some Bassani headers but will probably turn to Hooker due to price. Does Hooker do the ceramic coated headers? Bassani is very expensive...$500 headers is a lot for this college student. -BBB

I have Bassani ceramics on mine. Great header. One more vote for them. You cant really skimp when it comes to these, because you will kick yourself in the end when the bargain units dont work properly.

I purchased mine from Proficient. I have recommended them to many people here on FTE.

The $356 is the chrome ones, after shipping the HTC coated ones are around $500-haven't totaled that up yet. Is HTC coated worth the extra dough, if not chrome is good enough for me. From what I understand HTC just lasts longer than a chrome coating. Do they do anything else? How long should the chrome coat last? -BBB

It lowers underhood temps. For every ten degrees cooler air charge you can take in, you realize a 1% horsepower increase. Also, the ceramic is guaranteed against discoloration, and rust through. I wouldnt go any other way, considering the benefits.

Guess I'll save up really good for them, that'll be the last thing I do to it on my 'summer build up'. There's other things on my list I'd like todo before I shell that dough out. Anyone know of any place with a cheaper HTC price than that of proficient? I'd be surprised if there was. -BBB

When I searched for mine, they had the lowest pricing on the net.

That seems to be the word...wonder if a speed shop could do better? Looks doubtful.

I think mine Bassani headers ceramics were $451.00 from PP. I didn't want to do it but WHEELMA1 made me. Everytime I see Bronco in his gallery I spend more $.
