I was looking to get a new hitch for my '92 bronco so I wouldn't have to use the bumper any more, but when I was looking at them in the store, I couldn't tell how the hitch would bolt to the frame. It looked like I would have to remove the gas tank to beable to bolt the hitch to the frame. Anyone else put a frame mounted hitch on their bronco? If so, how did it go on and how hard was it to install? Thanks in advance.
My hitch was already mounted when I purchased my rig. But it is mounted to the frame. Here is a picture of my hitch with an air tank mouted onto it. there are two brackets, one on each side, that are bolted to the frame rails. I think my hitch was purchased and mounted from U-Haul by the preciouse owner.
There is a shot of my old K&N Filter. I now have a different air filter along with Mass Air Flow Meter. Both the Filter and compressor are mounted on a custom bracket that I fabricated myself.
