Theft Alarm

Does anyone know how to by pass the anti-theft alarm? It goes off when the mood hits. I want to disable it and still be able to lock the vehicle. Vehicle is a very high mileage 97 Explorer and do not have to worry about theft.

Not sure but there may be a separate fuse for the alarm system. Check your owner's manual.

This is true but other components share the circuit.
