Looking for used turbo system
Running a 1991 F-350 SRW 4x4 7.3 5 speed 4.10 gear 33"mud tires 170,000 miles.Truck worked good with 1000 LB. pop-up cab over camper and motorcycle trailer but now that I put a 2000 LB. full size cab over on it will not pull long hills in od(65mph/2300rpm) have to down shift to 4 and run at least 2800rpm still struggling and coolant temp. rises,almost gets out of normal range.Truck seems to run fine otherwise,all filters and injector pump are fresh.Would like to find a used ATS or BANKS turbo kit,anyone know where one might be or have any other ideas?THANKS-jkhawk10

Thats a little more than I can spend now.Thats probably a sidewinder for that price,I would be happy with the old early 90's non wastegated version Banks or ATS system as my only problem is on highway,my friend in the turbo business says they are worth 400.00-600.00 max if all parts there.His dealer cost was 1050.00 plus 250.00 for exhaust system back then for ATS.Thanks for the info,if you think he would take less let me know his number.
