The guy is sugesting I get the Sway Bar Lowering Kit - $32.95, do I need it?
Let me know if you guys think this is a good deal.
i was planning a complete 4" kit from skyjacker except in sted of drop brackets for radious arms it came with the extended arms, and it was like 1100.00, so i wouldnt think thats to bad. and with a 6" lift you may need to drop the sway bar, DW
Yeah,
The guy I am getting it from seems to know his stuff and he said that I need the sway bar drop. Do I only need it in the front? Anyone else know of a better deal then this?
Sounds pretty good. Are the rear springs just add-a-leafs, or is it a complete replacement spring pack? Rear springs alone are sometimes $250-$350. Even if they are add-a-leafs, that's still better than blocks.
Yeah, sounds great. That way you get a little better ride than just having 6" springs. It sounds like that is a true 6" lift. I mean it's not 6" in front and 4" in rear, that'll sit nice and level. As far as your swaybars go, it sounds like you're keeping them on. I removed mine for more travel, and haven't noticed any difference in streetability. You might also try the suspension forum. You'll probably get more reviews there.
