How do I install doorglass weatherstripping?
Hi. I am working on a 1992 Ford F150 Supercab. I want to replace the driver's side door glass channel weatherstripping. I have come to find out that the weatherstripping goes all the way down to the bottom of glass channel run. Is there a way to replace the weatherstripping w/o having to remove the door glass? If not, how do I remove the door glass or can I just remove the four bolts that hold up the scissor-like mechanism and set the glass down at the bottom of the door panel? I would greatly appreciate any of your responses. Thanks.

Thanks for your response, Chrono4. Did you or anyone have to take out the doorglass to remove the weatherstripping? Does the old weatherstripping just slide out with the doorglass intact inside the channel? Chrono4, when you installed the weatherstripping, did you just crimp the weatherstripping and force it down into the glass channel? My question then is whether the new Ford weatherstripping will be soft enough to push down. Would it be wise to put rubber dressing or some type of grease to push down the weatherstripping along the door and glass channel? Is there adjusting that I have to do during or after installing the weatherstripping? I would greatly appreciate any ideas and advice about this matter. I will stary tuned for your responses.
