98 Explorer Washer Pump Problems
I have a 1998 Explorer and I am having Washer pump problems. I have rewired the electrical connection to the washer pump (was slightly broken) and checked all of my fuses(both fuse boxes) I just had the pump replaced last December(from a ford dealer) I am lost as to go from here.

If the pump itself does indeed work....it may be the push-button mechanism on the turn signal. I have heard that the little spring switch inside simply gets compacted after a few years and it will no longer make a connection. If true...the tip is supposed to pop off where you then can bend the connectors and/or spring back out a little..reinstall..and should work again.
But...this is just what I vaguely remember someone mentioning.....you may want to serach this forum for the topic to confirrm.
