Ball Joint Question

I ended up replacing all four of mine with ball joints from Autozone - Perfect Circle, I think. About $125 for all four. They are supposedly lifetime warranty. The lower one has a grease fitting, but the upper one just has a plug. I was wondering if you could squeeze a 90 deg grease fitting in there. Anybody ever try? Otherwise I guess you just have to pull your axles like unit5alive suggested above. My 2 cents.
