Only thing I can think of is valvetrain clearance.
If they were to high, then valvetrain clearance wouldn't be the problem, hitting the upper intake would be, but I guess you could get a phenolic spacer then. Ask them why it won't fit exactly.
The only clearance problem I can think of would be the ignition coil and tad/tab/evr mounting bracket. However, I think they will fit just fine. They look like the valve covers FRPP used to have for EFI ford trucks.
ya, i was stumped to but then again i dont know that much about engines. Did the heads chang signifigantly from carbed to EFI that the valves wount clear, cuase that was the only thing i could think of. What is the spacer you were talking about?
