Bed Alignment
Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone has noticed that their bed isn't bolted on straight?
I've had my '04 f150 super cab since Sept. 03 but didn't notice it until 4/15/04 when I installed mud flaps on the rear (which, by the way, Ford doesn't make for the '04 with running boards. Wish they would, so I didn't have to drill....). But anyway....I then noticed that the right tire sticks out past the fender well about 1.5 inches, while the drivers side is recessed in about 3 inches. I almost couldn't believe this got past the line inspectors at the plant. The dealer says they can fix it (it's going in tomorrow) but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem.

I have heard of this problem on newer superdutys, except on them its the cab thats not straight. Seems as though its just a bushing that they didnt install correctly. The bushings on both my trucks are wore out so the bed and cab dont line up on them.
