Fuel Problem
My truck was working fine till yesterday. I went to start it and it fired up but quit after about 3 seconds. I had to bleed it and then it ran fine it did that three times yesterday after sitting for a while it has to sit for more then an hour because after my lunch break it started right up. But if it sits for a few hours air some how is getting in and causing the truck not to run. After I bleed it though it runs fine and drives the same. I tried to look for a bad line but couldn't find any. Does anybody know what's causing my problem? Any help will be apprieciated. Thanks.

on my 94 the pump suction had rusted on top of the fuel tank did not have time to get a new on so icut the lines and took a tube cuter cut of the rusted stuff put on good rubber fuel line and it works fine
does this happen on both your tanks

a liitle trick to help ya out would be to start the truck let it run then shut it down. un hook the fuel line coming from the tanksrite at the transfer pump. take some compressed air at a failry low pressure say around 10psi maybe 15psi and blow air back into yar tank. now carefully look at all yar lines. this noramlly pushes fuel out were it is sucking air in when the engine is running. even a damp spot on the line could indicate were yar problem is. ya will either have to crank the heck out of the truck or bleed the air back out of the lines after ya do this tho.
