390 Piston Question
Hey Guys, I'm hopeing someone might have the answer to this. I picked up a set of .030 390 pistons ( forged aluminum ) that are supposed to be 10-1 cr. They're flat tops w/eyebrows, and the only #'s I can find are 2217P .030 on the tops. Dose this ring a bell with anybody? Will be using with C1AE heads in a 390. Sounds like a set of Speed Pros, I just installed a set lastnight in my 390. Do they have 4 "eyebrows?" The heads are 71- 74 cc chambers and you will get a CR of around 9.5-9.6. To get to 10.1 you will have to have your heads milled.
