drop in new engine

i was just wondering if i drop in a new engine what will fit in my 95 ranger? im thinking about getting a crate engine or a mustang engine.

Question

The fit is relative to the tranny mostly. Then comes electrical etc, etc.
What's the plan? Are you staying stock or dropping in a 460?
Have you laid out a budget to include upgrades & etc?

i will probably do it within 6 months to a year. i want to drop in at least a 302.

These guys will give you first hand info on anything you need to know about swapping in a 302.

you can drop any thing in from a 4.0L V6 up to the 460 V8. the 302/5.0 is the most common. but have fun with it and let us know on how it goes
