TRANS. -TPS PROBLEM?
Dropped my truck off at the dealer this morning. Last week I posted about an accelerator pedal problem,the feedback I got was it was probably a faulty TPS. Last night coming home the service engine light popped on for a split second, at the next light when I took off, the transmission felt like it shifted from 1st to O/D-then did it again at the next light. We stopped to eat, and when we got back on the road it was fine, been fine all morning (tried to drive it alot before I dropped it off). Could they be related? Sure hope it's not the trans. I've only towed about 1200 of the 57000 miles thats on the truck, and thats only been around 8000 lb.'s. Sure hope this isnt the start of a bunch of problems. The v10 I owned prior had ZERO problems, sure hope this PSD lives up to its reputation. This is only problem I've had with the truck so I shoudnt be complaining. Oh well guess I'll find out later on today
