I had a 86 B2 before going to fullsize 79 and it had a skyjacker 8" and a 3 inch body and I ran a 38-15.50-15 swamper sx to trail ride with. I swaped in a 302 and a dana 35 front with 4.10 and ran an 8.8 in the rear.

ive heard that 265 70's are a little shorter but wider than a 265 75.. is that true? jw because i thought like the 2nd number was width number or something and measured somehow, jw how the sizes on those work

the only reason that the 265/70's would seem wider is if they were on a wider rim so that the center of the tread wasnt rounded off as much like narrower rims will cause a tire to do. the first number (265) is the width and the second one (70 or 75) is the height or aspect ratio. http://www.oly4x4.com/metrictireconv.htm this site will explain what all the numbers mean.

Weren't there 2 diff stock wheels with different sizes? The premium alloys were 7.5's and the regulars were like 6.5 or something? I read it somewhere but I forgot where.

I have stock steel 8 spoke rims.and 30x9.5. and a 2.5'' lift in the back. The fronts rub on the sway bar at full lock a bit.my rims are 6'' wide according to the balancer.I used to have a saet of 5 spoke aluminum rims that looked to be around 7'' wide.but they seemed to have more offset cause the dont stick out as far as another set of steel modular style rims (also 7''wide) i got for my 32'' pro comp mud terrains!

i got a 4inch body lift with a inch or so trimmed off the fenders and im rollin on 33x12.50x15 mudders (410 posi )

my tires didn't rub before i trimmed the fenders until i went bouncin across some rocks then not only did they rub but they cut deep into the luggs on my brand new expensive tires.. so i broke out the sawsall and now i don't think you could make it rub no matter what ya did to it....if it ever does i'll take more off...i could not care less about having to trim up my fenders my truck looks and works great... i wish i had gotten bigger tires and when these wear out i am going up to 36 x13 or 38 x 13 and if i have to cut some more sheet metal i will without blinking a eye.....

Bronco II's are great little trucks put some 33s on and you will love the results they look great and work better they give you a wider foot print and in my opinion greater stability and better handling of course and idiot might put it on its roof but C'est la Vi

Hey romer thats fine. I can't road it yet, waiting on getting the 302 in it and tag it. I got the dist cap and rotor swaped, valve cover gaskets replaced vacuume lines replaced etc on my 302 last night. Shouldn't be more than a week or two before I order the adapter. After I put it in I will still trailer it for any distance (more than 5 to 10 miles). I don't care to pay for new tires anytime soon and with the diffs welded it tears the he77 out of the grass so I know they will scrub the pavement good.I also still have the exo-cage to build and one more winch to buy. Can't trailer it yet, well could but its too wide to fit on my 16 foot trailer, I'd have to have one side on the rail, I don't like that. My 20 footer is a flat bed and way bigger than my 16 but the tires are shot and I'd rather buy the adapter before I buy new tires for it, and I want to get a tranny temp guage in my 04 4x4 silverado before I tow that big trailer behind it, I know it should be fine since I have the 5.3 and the tow package etc, but I want to be sure, payments to make and such. Could put it on my 2.5 ton chevy flatbed, but it runs on propane and only gets 4 mpg. Would have to make sure I had somewhere to refuel. And really don't want to drive that big truck that far unless I am hauling at least 10,000 lbs or so you know like 2 or 3 cars or equivalent. So after that rambling, For the next probably 2 months it would be a lot easier for you to roll my way, After I tag it though and get my trailer and pickup readied I will be in bixby quite a bit with my cousins, they know a few places to play, but since you actually have a 4x4 you probably know a few yourself, just no places we can in legal trouble or shot at. In the mean time I will try to email you with my cell number and you can come down and see the PUNISHER. haha. Thinking of printing off a skull and gluing and then clearcoating it onto the doors. Not sure I could paint one very good.

A lot of people talk about how unstable the B2's are, but they're no more unstable than any other midsized SUV out there, you have to drive with sence. What gave these a bad rep?

Dumbies that change lanes without looking, morons that drive slow in the passing lane, jerks that don't understand that driving a vehicle that is a little taller that the center of gravity is higher and you can't crank the wheel to turn at 55mph. They have no understanding of physics. They are the people that gently loose control of their car, be it from hydroplaning, droping a tire off the road, ice, etc and yank the wheel and spin out of control and cause multiple accidents or hit a wall etc. There are a lot stupid people, so all you can do is try to avoid them, and hope they don't have positions of power that they have no understand about. Like 4x4 engineers, the green people who like to shut down trails, equipment operators(I know a few bad ones). Yea, those people gave it a bad rep. I mean when it leans over so far, your tires are squeaking, and you feel that front tire lifting, you, might think that you should slow down a little or turn a little less sharp. Duhh. Guess they just don't understand.

I got 30" X10"s on my B2 with no lift and the only thing I had to do was roll the corners of my fenders (front and rear of the fenders) the only thing my tires rub is my sway bar in the front.
